Little Learners Academy

The Albanvale Little Learners Academy is an enhancement to existing Kindergarten programs, offering pre-school aged children access to 30 hours of structured, play-based learning every week in a specially designed Pre-Prep Program.

What makes our program unique?

Led by our fully qualified Kindergarten teacher and developed alongside our experienced Prep teachers, this program is delivered on our school site in our specially designed early-learning space. This initiative provides the opportunity for a seamless transition to school whilst students become familiar with the teachers, routines and environment for a full year before starting Prep. The Little Learners curriculum aligns with the Prep curriculum at APS and follows the structures, routines and expectations of the whole school to ensure the school readiness of our Little Learners.  Every student enrolled in the Little Learners Academy secures their place for Prep at APS the following year, making the school transition process simple.

Being a primary school, we can offer opportunities to engage in whole community events, access to specialist subjects, teachers and learning materials that other Pre-Prep programs may not.
