Students currently residing in the school enrolment zone have the right to a place at our school. Students living outside of the school enrolment zone will be offered a place subject to capacity in accordance with the DE Placement Policy. Click here to view the policy online.
Future Prep Enrolments
Prep Enrollments will be confirmed and families notified early in Term 3 the year prior.
All families interested in joining our community including those not currently living in our school zone are encouraged to submit an application form at the soonest time. This can be done at school or online (see below).

Our school is accredited and accepts international students from all over the world as part of our commitment to fostering globally-minded citizens. Families interested in studying at Albanvale PS through the international student program are encouraged to apply through the DET VISIT Website which can be accessed here.
Our School Zone
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones. Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.
The Department provides guidance through the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.

I currently live outside of the school zone. Can I enrol my child?Yes. Our school follows the DET Enrolment Guidelines. This means, families within our school zone receive priority places at our school. Students outside of our school zone are welcome to submit a pre-enrolment form and will be accepted pending capacity

What documents do I need to show to enrol my child?Once you have submitted your pre-enrolment you will be contacted by our Office Team to arrange a time for you to meet with us. You will be asked to bring the following documents: - Proof of address such a license, rates notice or contract of lease/sale - Medicare and Health Care card (If applicable) - Birth Certificate - Childs record of immunisation - Previous school reports (If applicable) - Other reports or medical forms relevant to your child
Does Albanvale Primary School offer before and after school care?Yes. Provided on-site through our experienced provider, Our Patch. Eligible families can access childcare subsidies on the already reduced rate. More information can be found on the OSHC page or at our front office.
